Hello!

Welcome to our little corner of the internet. We are glad you’re here!

Toddler Stocking Stuffer Guide!

Toddler Stocking Stuffer Guide!

Stockings are one of my very favorite parts of Christmas morning. When I was little, I’d have to wait until my mom finished brushing her teeth to be able to go downstairs and see what Santa brought. My stocking would always be hanging on the bannister and I got to open it while mom’s coffee brewed. I used to hate the waiting but now that I’m a mom, I totally get it. Coffee before everything, please…

Santa let me in on a few secrets this year so I could share what’s going in Jack and Ben’s stocking. I think they’re going to have a lot of fun pulling everything out. Everything is linked for easy shopping!

GloPals Sensory Lights

GloPals are awesome! I bought them on Black Friday and tried them out as soon as they arrived. I can’t wait for the boys to see them. They are recommended for ages 3 and up so be sure to use them with close supervision with younger kiddos.

GloPals are water-activated light cubes you can use in the bath, a water table… basically any place there’s water! They come in five different bright colors with fun faces to match. GloPals purchases support Batson Children’s Hospital, which I love so much.

Straw Cup or Water Bottle

We love our Nuby Tritan No Spill Flip N' Sip Weighted Straw Cup so much! The lid goes on easy, the straw comes apart for cleaning, (buh bye moldy straws) and the straw cover doesn’t pop off when it’s dropped. Our speech therapist recommended skipping sippy cups and going straight to straw or open rimmed cups like the 360 cup.

The boys are getting these Camelback water bottles in their stockings. We haven’t tried them yet but they have come highly recommended!

Crayons

I’m getting the boys a big roll of paper, too! They’re just starting to get to the point where they’ll put something to paper instead of directly into their mouths, so these will be great for fine motor skills practice! The HoneySticks are a little pricey (I got them on a Lightning Deal) but I love that they’re all-natural. The GiBots (below) look perfect for toddler hands, too.

My friend Jenny turned me on to these toy straps. The boys may not be excited about them, but I am definitely excited to keep our toys off of germy floors at church and the doctor’s office. Can I get an amen? These are really affordable at just under $4 for select colors!

Toddler Silverware

I know what you’re thinking… “Really? These aren’t even that cute! And they’re METAL!” This Oneida toddler silverware set was highly recommended by our OT and the boys did so well with it on their first try. Plastic toddler silverware is usually pretty difficult to use (aka stab stuff with) and this set gets kids accustomed to regular silverware. I promise you these are actually pretty darn cute.

This cute little cloud makes rain in the bathtub! I think a wide range of ages would enjoy this toy. Covering the hole at the top makes the rain stop, great for learning about cause and effect and physics! It opens for cleaning and the packaging is the perfect size for stockings, too.

These Boon plastic boats are great in the bathtub and we’ve used them in the water table, too! They stack and each one has holes that also make “rain” when they are flipped over. You’ll have to take these out of the package to get them in stockings but that makes it easy to split them between kiddos, too!

Brushies Finger Toothbrushes

Sugarbugs, run! The Brushies character finger brushes are here to make brushing fun! You can start as early as 4 weeks old, and the earlier the better or they start fighting you. Speaking from personal experience, here! Choose from Chomps the Dino, Willa the Whale, Pinkey the Pig, and Momo the Monkey. You can also purchase the whole gang and the story book together in one set.

O-Ball Cars

These little O-Ball cars are just the right size for toddler hands (and stockings) and the O-ball feature makes them really easy to hold and steer. I love how many fun options are available! Gimme allllll the Disney ones!

There are quite a few bath toys on my list, but these stacking cups are fun in and out of the bathtub! They connect end-to-end to make a caterpillar, stack on top and inside of one another for building and storing, and each cup has a different waterfall pattern when filled with water! Jack and Ben love to bang them together like cymbals!

We LOVE these Birdrock Baby booties! They’re non-skid (how cute is that “brb” pattern?) and they actually stay on thanks to three adjustable snaps. They come in 20 different color combos and seven sizes from NB to 24 months, though I think the sizing is generous. Bonus: they’re available on Amazon but made by a small, family-owned business!

Boogie Wipes

‘Tis the season, right? These saline wipes are gentle on snotty noses and Jack and Ben really love playing with the super crunchy, crinkly packaging. I could probably fill their stocking with just Boogie Wipes and they’d be happy! I keep a pack in the car, one in the diaper bag, and one on the changing table for easy access.

Chewy Tubes Ps and Qs

Chewy Tubes creates chewables that are widely used by speech and feeding therapists and every teether is intentionally designed to improve oral function. These are great as a regular teether, and the shapes provide chewing practice without the risk of choking, as well as sensory input. What toddler doesn’t need to be reminded to watch his Ps and Qs?

Shakers are a hit with the boys right now! These are going to replace the dollar store ones I made out of a plastic bottle and pony beads. They look like the perfect size to hold and shake and there are plenty to go around. The reviews on them are great, too.

Wash-With-Water-Product-Shots-7140_1050x.progressive.jpg

Okay, we looooove Wash With Water. Their products are all-natural, hypoallergenic, and they just have the yummiest, subtle scents. We have been using their Barenaked Babydoll 2-in-1 Hair and Body Wash on the boys since we brought them home. It has the most perfect, subtle ‘clean baby’ scent. We haven’t tried the Big Kid Bubble Bath yet but that’s next on my list! And I love their bar soap for myself. Wash With Water was kind enough to provide me with a discount code for you, too!

Use code WYLIE at checkout for 15% off your Wash With Water order!

Whew! That’s it for now. If I think of some other things, I’ll add them here! Leave a comment and let me know what’s going in your little one’s stocking this year!
